Individual Attention

Dr. Bayer and other staff members are available to talk with interns at any time about issues or problems. In addition, student concerns and achievements are discussed at the weekly seminar where students review how they handled challenges on the job -- and how they might have dealt with them better. Sharing experiences helps form a tight-knit, supportive group of interns who learn to practice networking among themselves. Such conversations help students get to know each other. The director of the program can intercede with supervisors on the job if serious problems arise, thus insuring productive resolution of any personality conflicts or misunderstandings. Dr. Bayer is the intern's consultant and advocate at work
