College Credit

Classes in the evening at Georgetown University in the summer, at WIP facilities during the year, and throughout the city enrich your appreciation of this wonderful capital. The Washington Internship Program takes students to lectures at think-tanks, visits to foreign embassies, press-conferences, museums, plays and concerts, TV studios, weekend retreats and even a Potomac River cruise.

You can transfer credit back to your college if you like, or just go through the Washington Internship Program. A process of evaluation is conducted at the end, and WIP provides written reports, transcripts and recommendations.
