“U.S. Foreign Policy and the Problem of Nation-Building” by Dr. Klaus Schwabe from Germany, author of Superpower and World Order

On April 11, WIP interns attended a colloquium on “U.S. Foreign Policy and the Problem of Nation-building” by Professor Klaus Schwabe, professor emeritus from the Technical University of Aachen, Germany.  Dr. Schwabe discussed his new book Superpower and World Order: American Foreign Policy from 1898 to the Present, a Hundred-Year History (2006). This talk was cosponsored by the Woodrow Wilson Center's Cold War International History Project and its West European Studies Program.
