“Celebrating Women’s Equality,” Paula Dobriansky, Under Secretary of Democracy and Global Affairs

On Thursday, August 24, WIP interns met at the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum to participate in a program celebrating the women’s movement and titled the “Taste of Equality.”Experts discussed the political status of women around the world and featured a sample of international foods from an array of regions. Under Secretary of Democracy and Global Affairs Paula Dobriansky opened the program with a global snapshot of women’s political participation.
