Play “Sheer Madness”
On Saturday, January 28, visiting faculty and administrators from Kyungpook National University in South Korea joined the Washington Internship Program in D.C. for a weekend of special events. On Saturday afternoon, we met at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a class discussion of internships with students from Asia as well as other countries and across the U.S. Then all interns and guests were treated by WIP to a performance of the play Sheer Madness in the Theater Lab located in the Rooftop Terrace within the Kennedy Center, prior to which WIP participants were taken on a guided tour of the Kennedy Center featuring the Hall of Flags, the famous bronze bust of President John Kennedy, art works donated by different countries, private reception rooms, and all theaters and concerts halls within the Center. WIP Students and guests enjoyed dinner in one of the Kennedy Center restaurants, compliments of the Washington Internship Program.
